Black and White Blouses
The idea
For this project I made two blouses, one black and one white, using an existing pattern. The main focus was technical sewing and developing a better understanding of how a garment is constructed.
I practised reading and following a pattern, assembling the different pattern pieces and finishing the garments neatly. Making the same blouse twice allowed me to repeat the techniques and work with increasing precision and independence.
Above all, this project helped me further develop my technical skills at the sewing machine.
